210,000 people hold a Rotterdampas, giving them access to free or discounted activities in and around Rotterdam. Each year, they have the option to renew their pass. Since 2022, Rotterdampas has made that process easier using PayByLink. Municipality of Venlo enhances payment convenience with digital payment links via Unit4 ERPx and PayByLink.

The Municipality of Venlo sends out 13,000 invoices and assessments each year. Since January 2025, the municipality has been using Unit4’s ERPx with PayByLink as its payment solution. Currently, 13% of all sent invoices and assessments are already paid via payment links or QR codes — and those payments are being received more quickly as well.

Nowadays inhabitants of municipalities expect to be able to pay for their “e-Loket” transactions online. Partners such as PinkRoccade, Centric, Decos, SIMgroep and Exxellence already integrated the Ingenico online payment platform in their business systems. But there are still many processes with offline handling of invoices and payment flows.
